Victoria Ioudina (Barcelona, 1999) is a young transdisciplinary film director and producer living and working in Barcelona, Catalonia.
Graduated in cinema from ESCAC University with a specialization in film production, she is in a constant process of training in various disciplines, including film laboratory, experimental photography, botany, craftsmanship, and textile manipulation. Her aim is to establish a dialogue between the moving image and matter, focusing on humanistic themes.
In 2022, she made her debut with the video installation titled “Hitomi”, fusing immersive scenography with a video piece. This work was exhibited at the LAB 36 art gallery during the LOOP Barcelona festival and the philosophy festival “Barcelona Pensa.”
She developed “Les aigües que esculpeixen el foc”, an experimental short film that allowed her to explore cinema from an artisanal and intimate perspective. In this work, she examines how nature not only surrounds us as a stage but also acts as a material that constructs and deconstructs us, politically, spiritually, and physiologically.
